What is your vendor policy? It’s your wedding and we want you to be able to create the vendor list that best meets your needs. Because of this we do not require you to use a preferred vendor list for any vendors including photographer, videographer, DJ, caterer, etc.
What is your refund policy? All payments are final, and we do not issue refunds. When you book your wedding, we take your date off the calendar and begin preparing for your wedding. We work all year to make sure your wedding day is perfect. That includes time spent answering emails, scheduling planning visits, and landscaping.
Do tables and chairs come with the packages? Yes! Our pricing is set for weddings up to 150 guests. We will provide tables and chairs to accommodate your guest list. Additional charges for guest lists between 151-200 will apply.
Is there a backup plan in the case of rain? We are exclusively an outdoor venue. When viewing our pricing, you will notice that we have set our prices low enough for our clients to rent a tent and still have a classy, affordable wedding. If you want a backup plan, this is the best course of action. We do not offer a building large enough to protect your entire guest list from inclement weather. With all of the barns on our farm, some assume that they are available to go into in the case of rain but this is not the case. When you book a wedding at The Grantham House we are on your team. If it rains we will be by your side helping you transition your wedding into the tent.
What is your maximum capacity?
Our pricing is designed for weddings up to 150 guests. We can accommodate up to 200 guests, but additional charges will apply.
Do you have parking onsite? Yes, we have plenty of parking for up to 200 guests.
Do you live at the venue ? Yes! We live and work at The Grantham House. Serving you on your wedding day is a family affair. You’ll see all of our children hard at work during each event.
Do you have an indoor space? We are a completely outdoor venue. We kept that in consideration when we set our prices. Our base price is below the industry average because we wanted you to have room left in your budget to rent a tent. The bridal party has the option to rent the house to get ready for the wedding.
What happens if a photography session is rained out? In the case of rain, we will work with you to find a new day for your photo session.
Are clients allowed to bring dogs/animals for photos? We allow clients to bring dogs as long as they remain leashed or crated the entire time. Dogs must also have up to date vaccinations. All other animals must be inquired about and will be subject to additional fees.
How do I book my photography session? Email us the prospective date you are considering. Once we settle on the date, we will send you an invoice online. Your date is secured once payment has been made.
Do you allow photographers to host mini sessions? Yes! We keep things simple by charging by the hour. If you want to hold a mini session at The Grantham House, simply book the number of hours you would need and schedule your clients in that timeframe.
