Chelsea and Adam’s story started way before their wedding day. The two of them shared a mutual friend who thought they would be perfect for each other. It turns out that their friend has a knack for match making because Chelsea and Adam hit it off.
They quickly became friends and soon realized that there was more between them than just friendship. They began dating, which eventually led to Adam popping the question, and finally led to their fall wedding at The Grantham House.
Chelsea and Adam said “I do” on a beautiful fall day, surrounded by family, friends, and a few farm animals. Their wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way. Keep reading to see just how stunning the day was.

Before the ceremony began the day was looking a little cloudy and overcast. We were all a little nervous wondering what was going to happen with the weather. You know how North Carolina can be, right?
The rain held off the entire day, but just as the ceremony time came near a light drizzle began to fall. This didn’t phase Chelsea and Adam the least little bit. They were ready to become husband and wife and a little drizzle wasn’t going to to get in the way.
Their photographer, Tiffiany Johnson, pulled out several clear umbrellas and the Chelsea walked down the aisle to become Mrs. Crumpler.
The drizzle didn’t last long. Before the reception started the rain stopped and the sun was shining through the trees, setting the stage for a fun filled evening.
The new couple and their family and friends celebrated together the rest of the right. They had dinner under the tent and served wedding cake and miniature pies in the silos.
There was dancing, toasts, and speeches. The love that the newlyweds shared was evident to everyone in attendance.
When I asked Chelsea what drew her to The Grantham House for her wedding day, she told me how important family was to her. She wanted a place that would feel like a family atmosphere and she felt like she found that at The Grantham House.
This was such a compliment to us here at The Grantham House. Creating a feeling of comfort and family is what we hope to contribute to every wedding. It was such a joy to see Chelsea and Adam become a brand new family, and to get to see them celebrated by their own families and friends.
